Graduation Regulations for Graduate Studies:

  1. The total units for the master's degree is 36 units, which includes 12 units for the first semester, 12 units for the second semester, and 12 units for the research thesis.
  2. The student must have 70% of cumulative GPA for the first and second semesters.
  3. The period of study (MSc.) shall not be less than 18 months.
  4. The student must obtain an average of at least 70% in the graduation research.
  5. The student must obtain an average of at least 70% in the final GPA. 

 

The student is subject to the following requirements (during the research):

  1. The student's graduation research is approved by the Scientific Committee and the Graduate Studies Committee in the Department.
  2. The student should do two seminars about the research and be evaluated by the scientific committee in the department.
  3. The student has to get the research thesis signed by the scientific supervisors.
  4. The citation regulations for the master thesis are applied according to the regulations and policies of MOHESR.
  5. The research thesis is revised linguistically.
  6. The research thesis is evaluated scientifically by an evaluator who is specialized and experienced in the research area.
  7. The student is required to meet with the Graduate Studies Committee to defend the research thesis, which then has to be approved by the Department Council and the University Council.
